Terms & Conditions

***ALL ESTIMATES & INVOICES MUST BE SIGNED AND/OR ELECTRONICALLY SIGNED, CUSTOMER CAN PROVIDE A PURCHASE ORDER AND/OR WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION AS WELL AS A 50% DEPOSIT IN ORDER TO BEGIN PRODUCTION***
* We will do our best to meet or beat prices by 10% or more!
* Please provide tax exempt certificate for tax exemption.
* We accept credit cards with a 3.5% processing fee, wire transfers, company checks, cashier checks and cash. (Ask office for more details)

Payments are as follows:

- 50% DEPOSIT TO START
- 40% DUE WHEN 75% COMPLETE & INSPECTED AT V&V WHSE
- 10% PRIOR TO DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

***IT IS ALWAYS OUR STANDARD PROCEDURE TO FILE A TIMELY NOTICE TO OWNER ON ALL JOBS THAT REQUIRES INSTALLATION***
All invoices, estimates, drawings and any changes thereafter require customer(s) and/or all parties involved to sign, approve and send back to our office.
Contract Warranty Policy


SEATING:
FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY on the frame, springs and/or decking materials to be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product.


ONE-YEAR WARRANTY on foam core and mechanisms. Foam to be free from manufacturing defects and against the loss of foam resiliency. Polyester wraps, used to create surface smoothness will, over time, lose some of the initial loft, which may contribute to cushion compression. Mechanisms will carry a one-year warranty against manufacturing defect.


ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on fabrics, filling materials and fastenings (including, but not limited to, pulls, handles, and outside vendor provided items).


CASEGOODS:
ONE-YEAR WARRANTY following the date of shipment from the factory on our casegood products against manufacturer defect and/or materials.
All V & V warranties apply under normal use and service. This warranty shall not apply to any products which have been subjected to misuse, accidents, abuse, abnormal usage, negligence, improper maintenance, damage in transportation or when original construction has been altered by someone other than V & V. No unauthorized person, agent, or dealer may give further warranties on behalf of V & V.
Due to the natural variations on materials over which we have no control, this warranty does not extend to color, grain, or texture of wood, leather or upholstery. Materials such as fabrics, vinyls, leathers etc. will most likely have their own warranty which will supersede that of V & V’s warranty. Customer’s own materials will not be cover under V & V warranty.
Except as stated above, V & V makes no other expressed or implied warranties to any product, including any warranty on merchantability and fitness for any purpose. V & V shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages.

 

UPHOLSTERY
Since most fabrics used on V & V products are C.O.M. (customer’s own material), and because upholstery manufacturers generally do not guarantee their products against shrinkage, colorfastness, wrinkling, or other problems, we will not repair or replace upholstery that exhibits problems of this nature. V & V will repair or replace leather that exhibits cracking, tackiness, loss of flexibility, or peeling and abrasion, if it is not the result of accidents, abuse, improper care or cleaning, or normal wear and tear. Foam is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year.


EXCLUSIONS
We exclude and will not pay for any loss, expense, or damage that may result from a defect in the furniture, other than such as is to the furniture itself. The remedies provided under this Warranty state the limit of V & V’s responsibilities.


FREIGHT DAMAGE
This Warranty does not cover damage caused by common carrier.


HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
Please feel free to contact our offices should you have to report a claim or have any questions about a pending claim we are available 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. If you do not reach a claim specialist right away, please allow 24 to 48 hours for a claim specialist to get back to you to schedule an inspection. If the goods are not in our local area we will ask for photos, video and any other type of proof of damages or defect to assess the claim. If a defect is confirmed, we will require proof of purchase and a reasonable amount of time to remedy the problem. Contact us right away and our specialist will do whatever it takes to rectify the problem.
